I have an aversion to eating something that can taste me back so I’m really not much into raw food (especially those that still move), but I love Japanese food. Well, the ones that are cooked (or slightly cooked) anyways.
One of the Japanese restaurants I frequent is Sushi-Ya. The food doesn’t only taste good, it’s also affordable.
An order of Katsudon only costs 150 pesos (3.50 USD) while a Sukiyaki that’s already good for 2 only costs 175 pesos (4 USD).
If you’re into maki sushi, you may want to try their Sushi-Ya Festival which is basically a sampler of some of their makis and sushis.
They have several branches so if you feel like eating Japanese and you don’t want to spend too much, go to the branch near you.
I give it 3 out of 5 hashi.
Branches: Tomas Morato, Libis, Robinson’s Galleria, Robinson’s Manila and SM Megamall
